The piece
Gharajeh
A deep red field sets a warm, grounded backdrop for bold, geometric medallions and accent motifs. Two cream-beige hooked motifs form a mirrored central axis, each enclosing a multilayered chevron fan rendered in blue, green, tan, brown and gray. Small rosette disks and scattered floral dots in beige, blue and green animate the surrounding field, while a sky-blue floral border frames the composition and provides a cool contrast to the red background. Hand-knotted, 100% wool construction gives the surface a dense, low-to-medium pile with a soft, slightly springy hand and clear, tactile definition to every motif.

This rug works well as an anchor in a living room beneath a coffee table, as a statement runner in an entry or hallway, or layered at the foot of a bed to add color and texture. Pair it with warm wood furniture and leather pieces for a traditional or rustic look, or let it add pattern and warmth to a neutral, modern setting by pulling the blue border into accent pillows and throws. It also fits comfortably into eclectic and bohemian schemes where layered textures and mixed patterns are welcome.
