Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this small-format rug presents a warm beige field patterned with a disciplined repeat of geometric cross motifs in burgundy, maroon and brown. A narrow maroon inner band and a darker brown outer guard frame the field, giving the design a classic, village-woven character. The wool pile reads as low to medium in density and feels firm yet slightly springy underhand; running your fingers across the surface highlights the tight knotting and a soft, tactile warmth typical of hand-knotted wool.

The rug’s compact footprint works well in tight or layered arrangements—place it in an entry, a hallway, at the foot of a bed, or as an accent in front of a chair to introduce color and pattern without overwhelming the room. It pairs naturally with warm wood finishes, leather seating, and neutral upholstery, and also complements rich textiles and vintage accents for a collected, traditional-meets-casual look.
