Product Description

Hand made of wool, this rug presents a classic geometric medallion layout set on a warm beige ground. A central diamond anchors a field filled with tightly arranged repeating motifs, while angular corner spandrels and layered borders introduce crisp, geometric detailing. The palette pairs soft yellow and warm brown with deep blue accents and muted olive highlights, creating a balanced, lived-in look. The wool pile has a tactile, slightly springy feel underfoot and a low-to-medium nap that catches light with a subtle sheen, giving the pattern gentle depth without overpowering a room.

This rug works well as an anchor for a small seating area or reading nook, placed beneath a pair of chairs and a side table, or layered at the foot of a bed for added warmth. It also pairs nicely with leather or wood furniture and mid-century or traditional interiors, and provides a grounded contrast when layered with lighter, natural textiles in a farmhouse or eclectic scheme. Dark blue pillows or an olive throw will pick up the rug’s accent tones, while simple brown or beige upholstery will allow its geometric pattern to remain the focal point.
