Product Description

Hand-woven from 100% wool, this Kilim Fars-style flatweave presents a firm, tactile surface with short fringe at either end. A deep burgundy field provides the backdrop for bold, repeating geometric bands: large, squared meander motifs in navy and bright orange alternate with narrower rows of interlaced diamond and ladder patterns in ivory, rust red and brown. Striped end panels in rust, navy and orange frame the design and add a casual, hand-crafted feel. The texture is compact and slightly coarse to the touch—the characteristic hand of a tightly woven kilim—while the wool brings a warm, natural weight to the piece.

This rug works well where you want pattern and color to anchor a room: layer it under a coffee table to energize a neutral living area, place it at the foot of a bed for a warm, grounded bedroom palette, or use it in an entry or hallway to introduce color and pattern. It pairs particularly well with warm woods, leather seating, brass accents and linen upholstery, and complements both global-inspired, eclectic schemes and mid-century modern interiors that benefit from a strong graphic element.
