Product Description

A cream ground provides a calm backdrop for a classic medallion layout framed by a narrow red inner field and a wider border of scrolling botanical motifs and rosettes. A central red star-like medallion anchors the design while accents in navy blue and brighter blue, light green, beige and brown trace the floral and geometric details, giving the pattern depth and movement. The hand-knotted construction in 100% hand-spun wool creates a subtly irregular, tactile surface with a natural matte finish and a comfortable, slightly cushioned feel underfoot.

This rug works well in smaller spaces that benefit from a focused anchor—try it in an entryway, at the foot of a bed, beside a reading chair, or layered over a larger neutral rug to add pattern and color. Pair it with warm wood tones, leather seating or neutral linen upholstery to highlight the reds and blues, or use it to introduce traditional character into transitional and cottage-inspired rooms.
