Product Description

A tightly stitched checkerboard of small cowhide squares creates a graphic patchwork set on a multi background. Squares of beige, ivory, light brown, brown and black alternate across the field, with subtle silver and gold tones woven through the pattern for added depth. The hand-sewn grid gives the rug a defined, geometric silhouette that pairs contemporary lines with a rustic sensibility.

Hand made of cowhide and leather, the surface offers a soft hair-on-hide feel with a low pile and a gentle sheen where the light catches the hide. Stitched leather seams add visual definition and a tactile contrast. Place this piece beneath a coffee table to anchor a seating area, layer it over hardwood for added texture in a living room or dining nook, or use it in a home office or entry to introduce warmth and pattern. It complements warm woods and leather furnishings as well as modern, industrial or farmhouse interiors.
