Product Description

Hand-woven of 100% wool, this flatweave patchwork rug brings together an assortment of geometric motifs, stripes and plaid-like checks arranged in rectangular panels. The background color is Multi, with a largely neutral foundation of beige, ivory, light brown and gray that’s punctuated by darker accents in black, navy blue and brown and brighter touches of blue, light blue, green, light green, purple and pink. Running your hand across the surface, you feel the firm, low-profile weave typical of traditional flatweave work—some panels are tightly woven and smooth while others show a slightly slubbed, textured finish that gives the piece subtle depth and tactile contrast.

This rug works well anchored beneath a sofa and coffee table in a living room, layered under a bed in a relaxed bedroom, or placed in an entryway to introduce pattern without overwhelming a space. It pairs naturally with warm woods, industrial metals and neutral upholstery, and it complements both eclectic, bohemian mixes of color as well as more restrained contemporary interiors that need a touch of pattern and texture.
