Product Description

A classic Persian-inspired runner with a central medallion and sinuous floral vines, this hand made of wool and silk rug pairs a soft beige field with warm pink and red motifs and darker brown outlines. Olive and blue accents thread through the scrolling florals and palmettes, while the beige background keeps the overall look light and airy. Running along the edges, a warm-hued border frames the design and the silk highlights pick out fine details, giving the motifs crisp definition against the plush wool pile. The hand-knotting produces a low, tactile pile that feels soft underfoot with a subtle sheen where silk is used.

This runner works well in narrow or transitional areas where pattern can add movement—think a hallway, entryway, or alongside a bed. It pairs naturally with warm wood floors and neutral upholstery, and also complements painted millwork or vintage furnishings for a refined traditional look. Use it to introduce color without overwhelming a space, or layer it with simpler rugs and muted textiles for a balanced, lived-in aesthetic.
