Product Description

Hand-knotted in wool and handmade, this rug has a warm beige ground interrupted by a pattern of stacked and scattered rectangles in rich brown and deep navy. The layout reads as an abstract geometric field: denser clusters of small blocks collect toward one end while taller, vertical bars rise through the middle, giving the surface a sense of movement and subtle rhythm. Running color variation in the wool pile creates a layered, almost streaked effect across the beige background that adds depth without competing with furnishings.

The wool pile has a tactile, textured hand that reveals the knotting and offers a soft underfoot feel with noticeable tonal variation. Its contemporary, geometric character pairs well with mid-century modern furnishings, a pared-back Scandinavian scheme, or a warm, rustic living room where natural materials are highlighted. Use it under a sofa and coffee table to anchor a seating area, place it in a study or home office to add pattern without overwhelming, or select a smaller size for an entry or bedside to introduce color and texture.
