Product Description

Hand knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug has a softly textured, slightly nubby pile that feels warm and comfortable underfoot. A grid of small square medallions sits on a blue field, each tile bearing its own floral or geometric motif worked in cream, green, navy blue, olive, salmon, maroon, red and tan. Narrow dotted borders around the squares give the design a structured, rhythmic layout while the rich mix of colors adds layered visual depth against the blue background.

This versatile piece works well in a traditional living room paired with warm wood furniture and neutral upholstery, beneath a dining table to anchor a transitional space, or layered at the foot of a bed to introduce color and pattern. It complements both antique furnishings and contemporary accents—try bringing out the rug’s warmer tones with maroon or salmon throw pillows, or highlight the cooler blues and greens with cream linens and natural textures.
