A nautical patchwork laid on a blue background, this rug arranges chain-bordered panels to display sailboat and helm motifs, a nautilus shell, lighthouse, life preserver, snorkel gear, signal flag and a pair of whales. The graphic, slightly stylized illustrations are rendered in black, ivory, light brown and pops of red that contrast cleanly against the blue field. The face is a low-pile, tightly woven polypropylene that has a subtle texture you can feel underfoot while staying smooth enough to layer furniture on.

Machine-made of 100% polypropylene, the rug’s construction suits outdoor and high-traffic settings without looking utilitarian.
