This rug is perfect for our son's new toddler bedroom! The colors are not as bright as the picture shows but the more muted look is nice in his room. It's definitely a statement rug still! We love the look and feel of this rug. It was difficult finding a rug that wasn't made of plastic so finding something that was this pretty and made of wool was a real win! We have no absolutely no problem with shedding (we followed the instructions for setting up the rug to a tee). Great purchase!

One review said it was more grey, but it is not... and it's not the bright white so if you're looking for something with black and cream-ish... go for it.
