Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this rug features a classic Central Asian repeat of boteh-style medallions set against a warm brown field. Each row of oval motifs is outlined in deeper brown with beige highlights that pick out the interior details, while a geometric border of alternating squares and medallions frames the composition. The tightly woven wool has a substantial, tactile surface—soft to the touch with a firm, slightly cushioned feel and a muted, natural luster that emphasizes the pattern rather than shine.

This piece works well as an anchor for a living room layered with leather seating and warm wood tones, or placed under a dining table to introduce pattern without overwhelming the room. It pairs nicely with neutral linens, deep greens or navy accents, and both vintage and mid-century furnishings; it also brings a grounded, traditional touch to a home office or entryway.
