Product Description

Deep burgundy provides a warm, grounded field for a sequence of narrow, horizontal bands in black, brown, ivory, yellow and orange. The pattern pairs repeating geometric motifs with fine linear striping for a traditional, kilim-inspired look; small diamond and cross motifs punctuate the stripes, adding rhythmic detail across the face of the rug. Hand-knotted in 100% wool, the surface feels dense and tactile underfoot with a low profile and a natural wool sheen that highlights subtle tonal variations where the dyes meet the handwork.

This rug works well in rooms that benefit from warm, layered color: place it beneath a leather sofa and simple coffee table to anchor a living room, under a solid-wood dining table to add pattern without overwhelming the table setting, or in an entryway to give a welcoming, structured look. It pairs especially well with mid-century and rustic furnishings, global-inspired or bohemian decor, and interiors that use natural woods and warm metal accents for a pulled-together, cozy atmosphere.
