Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug has a cream field filled with a tight grid of stylized rosettes and oval cartouches in blue, navy, red, green and brown. A broad red main border with a secondary blue guard creates a strong frame, with small palmette and paisley-like motifs punctuating the edges. The short, dense pile feels warm and slightly springy underfoot; the hand-spun wool gives subtle tonal variation across the surface, and the precise knotting keeps each geometric motif distinct. Short fringed ends complete the look.

Place this piece in a compact entryway or hallway to introduce color and pattern without overwhelming the space, or set it beside a bed or under a small seating arrangement to add layered texture. It pairs naturally with warm wood floors, vintage leather seating, navy cabinetry or painted millwork, and works well in traditional, cottage, or eclectic interiors that blend antiques with contemporary pieces.
