Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug shows a traditional geometric layout with a warm cream field punctuated by three prominent diamond medallions—two in rich red flanking a deep navy-blue center. Smaller lozenges, stylized floral and foliate motifs in blue and green, and tiny accent details in navy and red fill the field, while a broad border of repeating octagonal cartouches in red and green frames the composition. The hand-spun wool has a natural, slightly rustic texture; the dense knotting creates a firm, resilient surface with a comfortable warmth underfoot and a tactile, lived-in feel.

Well suited to a range of interiors, the rug anchors a living room seating area when paired with warm wood furniture or leather upholstery, and it brings color and structure to an entry or study. It also complements transitional schemes—pair with neutral sofas and navy or green accents to let the pattern harmonize without overwhelming the room. The traditional geometric style works equally well with vintage pieces or modern furnishings that echo the rug’s color palette.
