Product Description

Hand-knotted of wool and silk, this rug presents an ivory field patterned with scattered teardrop and leaf-shaped medallions linked by delicate, meandering vine lines. A narrow inner guard and a wider floral border frame the center, with motifs worked in beige, terracotta, light salmon, light blue, light green, light brown and brown, punctuated by touches of black for contrast. The silk highlights catch the light for a soft sheen while the wool pile feels supple and slightly dense underfoot; the hand-knotting produces a low-to-medium pile with subtle variation that adds tactile interest.

The rug’s warm, muted palette and gently aged motif suit a range of interiors—place it beneath a coffee table to anchor a neutral living room, layer it under a bed to add softness and color to a bedroom, or pair it with a rustic dining table to introduce pattern without overwhelming the scheme. It pairs especially well with warm wood tones, painted whites or soft blues, and works in traditional, transitional, coastal, or modern farmhouse settings where a calm, grounded floor covering is desired.
