Product Description

Hand-knotted in 100% wool, this rug presents a classic geometric medallion layout on a light beige ground, punctuated by warm brown and black accents. The field is organized into repeating octagonal motifs, each enclosing a small stylized floral element, while a series of narrow borders with linked floral motifs and dotted guard stripes frame the composition. The dense, hand-knotted pile has a low, tactile profile with a natural wool luster that gives the pattern clear definition and a comfortable, soft feel underfoot; finished fringes at the ends reinforce its traditional character.

The rug’s restrained palette and structured pattern work well with warm wood finishes, leather seating, and neutral upholstery—place it to anchor a compact seating area, define an entry or foyer, or layer it at the foot of a bed for added texture. It complements both traditional and transitional interiors, and also fits nicely in a study, reading nook, or small dining nook where a smaller rug can bring pattern and warmth without overwhelming the room.
