Product Description

Hand-made from cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug arranges narrow rectangular pieces into a dense, linear mosaic that reads as a modern, geometric weave. A multi-tonal ground—anchored by deep black and rich browns—is enlivened with mustard-yellow stripes and scattered pops of blue, red, olive, orange, ivory, gray and light brown. The staggered, horizontal bars create a rhythmic pattern that’s both structured and organic, with occasional natural hide markings adding subtle, one-of-a-kind character.

The surface is hair-on-hide with a low, smooth pile and visible stitched seams where each leather and cowhide segment meets, giving the rug a tactile, hand-assembled feel. It layers easily over hardwood or concrete and pairs particularly well with leather sofas, industrial metal accents, or clean-lined mid-century pieces. Use it to anchor a seating area beneath a coffee table, to warm a home office, or to add textural contrast at the foot of a bed.
