Product Description

Handmade of cowhide and leather, this rug presents a neat checkerboard patchwork set against a multi background. Small square panels alternate in beige, black, brown, ivory, tan and light brown, producing a clean geometric rhythm with subtle, natural variation in each patch. The hair-on-hide surface feels soft underfoot while displaying slight directional nap and textural contrast between panels; the hand-stitched seams add a visible, crafted finish that underscores the rug’s construction.

This piece brings warmth and pattern to a range of interiors. Lay it beneath a low-profile coffee table in a living room with warm wood and leather seating to ground the seating area, use it to soften polished concrete or tile in an urban loft, or place it under a dining table to introduce visual interest without overwhelming the space. It pairs especially well with neutral textiles, matte metals and natural wood finishes for a balanced, layered look.
