Product Description

Hand-knotted in a blend of wool and silk, this rug presents a traditional floral medallion pattern with a richly layered color story. A multi-hued ground anchors the design while clusters of burgundy and pink roses sit at the center, surrounded by light green arabesques and navy blue floral sprays. Beige, tan and light brown fills and a black outline give the motifs definition, while touches of violet and light green add subtle contrast across the field and ornate border.

The mixed-wool and silk construction delivers a soft, tactile pile with silk highlights that catch the light and emphasize the hand-knotted detail. This piece works well beneath a seating group in a classic living room, layered in an eclectic or bohemian space to tie together varied textiles, or placed under a dining table to introduce pattern and color to a formal area. It also pairs nicely with mid-century or contemporary furnishings when you want a traditional rug to add warmth and visual depth.
