Product Description

Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug presents a traditional layout with a dense olive field covered in small, repeating teardrop motifs in black and brown. A series of narrow guard stripes in ivory and red lead to a wider decorative border rendered in ivory, brown and black, giving the piece a refined, structured edge. The low, tightly knotted pile has a firm yet tactile feel beneath the feet and a soft natural wool sheen; short fringes at the ends complete the look.

This rug works well as an anchor for a living area under a coffee table, as a grounding layer in a study, or beneath a round dining table to introduce pattern without overwhelming a room. It pairs naturally with warm woods, leather seating, and brass or matte-black accents, and will balance both traditional interiors and contemporary spaces that need an earthy, patterned element alongside neutral upholstery.
