Product Description

A classic, Persian-inspired field of small boteh motifs repeats across a soft pink background, each tear-shaped motif defined in black with hints of olive and light brown for subtle contrast. An ivory inner border frames the central pattern with a flowing vine-and-geometric design worked in olive, light brown and black, and short natural fringe finishes the ends. Hand-knotted from 100% wool, the pile is dense and springy to the touch—wool fibers give the surface a warm, tactile feel and a refined, low-sheen appearance that highlights the rug’s fine detailing.

This piece works well in traditional and transitional settings: place it in an entryway or hallway to introduce color and pattern, tuck it under a small seating area or bedside for a cozy touch, or layer it with a neutral larger rug in an eclectic living room. Pair it with warm wood tones and leather or linen upholstery, bring in olive or light-brown accents through pillows and throws, or anchor a vintage-inspired study with brass or matte-black accessories for a balanced, lived-in look.
