Product Description
This hand-knotted Tabriz rug, crafted from 100% wool, measures 10x13 feet and features a rich palette of Red as its dominant background color, complemented by Beige, Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Ivory, Navy Blue, and Pink accents. The traditional design boasts intricately detailed patterns, including a central medallion surrounded by floral motifs and an ornate border that frames the piece beautifully. The texture is enhanced by its low pile spots, indicative of its semi-antique status, approximately 40-60 years old, adding character and a sense of history to the rug.
The inclusion of fringe on either end provides a classic finishing touch. The diversity of colors within the design allows the rug to integrate seamlessly into various interior styles, from traditional to more eclectic settings. It would be suited particularly well in a formal living room, dining room, or in an office space where its distinguished appearance would complement wood furnishings and add warmth to the space. This timeless Tabriz rug is a testament to craftsmanship and design, offering both visual interest and durable construction for long-lasting enjoyment in any home.

Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 2-3 feet on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
Outdoor
Measure your patio or deck area and choose a rug that fits within the furniture grouping, leaving a few inches of clearance on all sides.
- Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting to remove surface dirt.
- Spot clean stains immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Deep clean by hand using a mixture of cool water and mild wool-safe soap.
- Have the rug professionally cleaned every 3-5 years.
- Rotate the rug every 6 months to ensure even wear and fading.
Consider the existing colors in your room, including walls, furniture, and decor. A rug can either complement or contrast with these elements.
Lighter colors make a room feel larger and more open, while darker colors add warmth and coziness.
If your room has a lot of patterns, choose a solid or subtly patterned rug. If your room is mostly solid colors, a patterned rug can add visual interest.
