Product Description

A bold red field sets the stage for a traditional flatweave kilim pattern built from interlocking diamonds and stepped-triangle motifs. The central lattice of lozenges alternates bands of cream, gold, blue and olive, while maroon and violet accents trace the serrated border and corner motifs. Narrow horizontal striping in the weft adds subtle color variation, giving the geometric design a layered, hand-dyed appearance that reads both structured and warm.

Hand-woven of 100% wool, the surface has the firm, low-profile texture characteristic of kilim weaving—distinct ribs from the weft rows and a slightly tactile, woolen hand underfoot. It works well as an entryway statement or layered in a living area to bring color and pattern to wood or stone floors, and it pairs naturally with leather seating, warm woods, or clean-lined modern furnishings for a global or bohemian touch. This piece also makes a lively bedside accent or adds personality to a reading nook without adding bulk.
