Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug has a warm, tactile pile that reads soft yet substantial underfoot. A rich red field anchors a central navy medallion and bold angular motifs in shades of blue, teal, green, brown and gold. A cream-gold border with repeating rosettes and delicate corner accents frames the composition, while the hand-spun yarns produce gentle variation in tone and a subtle, textured surface you can feel when you run your hand across it.

The rug’s traditional medallion-and-border layout fits both classic and more layered, contemporary schemes. It works well layered over hardwood in a living room under a pair of armchairs, placed beside a bed to add color and warmth, or used in an entry or study where its scale and pattern provide a strong focal point. Pair it with warm wood finishes, navy or leather seating and brass accents for a cohesive look, or use neutral walls and simple furnishings to let the rug’s colors and texture take center stage.
