Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this Kazak-style rug presents a warm red field punctuated by bold geometric medallions in navy blue, cream, gold, green, brown and lighter blue. The central medallions and smaller star motifs sit against a rich red background, while a cream border with repeating motif bands frames the composition. Running your hand across the surface you feel the slightly uneven, tactile quality of hand-spun wool — a dense, textured pile with a pleasant warmth underfoot and the subtle variations that come from true hand-knotting.

Place this piece where its color and pattern can be a focal point: layered in front of a leather chair or beneath a small coffee table in a cozy living area, at the foot of a bed to anchor a bedroom vignette, or in an entryway to introduce color and pattern. It pairs especially well with warm wood tones, navy or cream upholstery, and mixed-pattern accents for a global, cottage, or eclectic interior.
