Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug has a warm, tactile presence with a low-to-medium pile that feels slightly soft underfoot while maintaining a firm, structured weave. A red field provides the backdrop for a tightly arranged pattern of geometric medallions and star-like floral motifs in blue, navy, green, beige and brown. An ivory/beige outer border punctuated with paisley-style boteh shapes and small rosettes frames the central design, and short fringe finishes the ends for a handcrafted look.

This compact piece works well in small-scale settings—think an entry, a reading nook, at the foot of a bed, or layered in a seating vignette. It complements traditional and transitional interiors as well as eclectic or farmhouse schemes; pair it with warm wood furniture, navy upholstery, brass or aged-metal accents, and neutral linens to let the red ground and multicolored motifs provide a focused, grounded accent.
