Product Description

Hand-knotted of 100% hand-spun wool, this rug sits on a deep red ground patterned with repeating geometric rosettes and diamond motifs in shades of blue, navy, green, cream and brown. A cream guard border punctuated with paisley-like boteh motifs and a narrow navy inner stripe frames the central field, while short fringed ends and a tightly-knotted pile give the surface a tactile, slightly springy feel. The hand-spun wool produces subtle variations in texture and color that lend the rug a warm, lived-in character.

This compact piece works well as an anchor in an entryway, layered in front of a sofa, or placed at the foot of a bed, adding color and pattern without overwhelming smaller spaces. Pair it with warm wood tones, leather seating, or neutral linens for a balanced, transitional palette, or use it to introduce pattern and color in a bohemian or eclectic scheme; brass or matte-black accents and textured throws will complement its palette and hand-crafted presence.
