Product Description

A rich red background anchors a structured, tribal-inspired layout of repeating medallion motifs set in orderly rows, framed by multiple geometric borders in black with ivory highlights. The pattern reads formal but restrained, with small ivory accents that add contrast against the deep red and black. Hand-knotted of 100% wool, the surface has a firm, dense feel underfoot and a low, even pile that reveals crisp knotting and a finely defined design. Natural tan fringe at the ends completes the traditional look.

This rug works well in a variety of interiors: place it in a living room to ground a neutral sofa and warm wood furniture, tuck it into a study or library where its structured pattern complements leather and brass accents, or run it in an entry hall or long corridor to introduce color and pattern without overwhelming the space. It pairs particularly well with mid-century and traditional pieces, and can also serve as a warm counterpoint in a modern-minimal scheme.
