Product Description

Hand knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug combines rich color and tactile depth with a classic, regional-inspired pattern. A warm red field anchors repeating medallion bands and rows of small geometric motifs, while alternating horizontal stripes in blue, navy, green, brown and gold bring rhythm and contrast. The pile has a dense, slightly nubby hand from the hand-spun wool—you can feel the subtle irregularities of the fibers underfoot and see gentle tonal variations where the dyes settle into the knots.

Place this rug where you want a layer of warmth and color: under a coffee table to ground a seating area, at the foot of a bed to soften morning steps, or in an entryway to set a collected, welcoming tone. It pairs well with warm woods and leather, neutral upholstery, or a mix of global textiles; the combination of bold red and deeper blues supports both traditional and more eclectic, modern-rustic schemes.
