Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug presents a warm red field punctuated by a series of geometric medallions, rosettes and stylized floral motifs. The design pairs bold, angular tribal forms with delicate filler motifs and multiple guard borders in cream and ivory that frame the central composition. A palette of navy blue, black, beige, brown, green, orange and yellow is woven throughout, giving each motif clear definition against the red background while subtle tonal variations in the hand-spun wool add depth and character.

Underfoot the pile feels substantial and slightly plush, with the natural irregularity of hand-spun wool creating a tactile, textured surface that softens as you run your hand across it. The rug anchors a seating area or study with traditional and transitional furnishings, complements layered bohemian or eclectic interiors, and also grounds a formal dining space with its structured pattern. It pairs well with warm wood tones, leather accents and neutral upholstery, and can serve as a focal point in rooms that balance vintage details with contemporary lines.
