Product Description

A deep red field anchors this hand made, 100% wool rug, woven with a tight, repeating boteh-style motif that gives the surface a fine, tactile texture. A central cream diamond medallion and matching corner spandrels break the red expanse and introduce a compact geometric pattern in cream, green, blue and yellow. Multiple inner and outer borders surround the field, each band carrying small, precisely drawn motifs in dark blue, cream, green and yellow that add visual rhythm and frame the composition.

The hand-knotted wool pile sits at a low-to-medium height, delivering a warm, slightly lustrous hand and the subtle variations of color that come from traditional weaving. Place this rug beneath a seating group to ground a living room, under a dining table to bring color and pattern to mealtimes, or centered in a study or formal sitting room as the room’s visual anchor. It pairs well with neutral upholstery to let the rich red and cream pop, or with deep blue and warm wood tones for a cohesive, layered interior.
