The colors are beautiful and rich and the gold details shimmer in the sunlight. It's very soft to the touch and looks durable and well made (especially for the price). It took a couple days for it to lay flat on the floor but that's to be expected with any rug at this price point. Overall we are very happy with this pruchase!

From one end the design was yellow and from the other it was iridescent. Also it Ended up being more of a bone white than pure white but I really liked that. If the yellow angle would have matched better with my bathroom I would have kept it for sure bc the rug was great otherwise

As seen in the picture the gold is indeed metallic. I cannot speak to its durability as I've only had it a week now. The rug construction seems to be of average quality (although I have little experience judging these matters).
