Handmade from wool and cotton, this rug has a deep black ground patterned with flowing, organic waves and scattered flecks in rich brown and light brown. The design combines long, undulating strokes with smaller, irregular marks to create movement across the surface. Running your hand over it reveals the plush wool pile sitting against a cotton foundation; the hand construction gives the surface a layered, tactile quality where the pattern is defined by subtle shifts in pile and texture.

Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 2-3 feet on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
