The piece
Mashad
Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this rectangular area rug from the Mashad Collection showcases a classic botanical pattern with traditional Persian design roots. A rich red field provides the backdrop for an intricate central medallion, dense floral vines, and multi-layered borders. Detailed motifs in navy blue, light blue, ivory, green, olive, peach, and tan add depth across the surface. With its medium wool pile, this piece provides natural durability and a substantial feel underfoot.
