Great rug!
Love this rug. Ordered it originally to put in our basement, however we decided to not have our bedroom down there so opted not to. Instead, we put this in our plant's sun-room and WOW. The natural tones of this big boy look beautiful with all of our greenery, and it is a great size for the room, large enough to break up the hardwood that is all through out the first floor of our new home. The cats adore it as well... Which is nice for the reason that they like to lay on it and sun-bathe, however they also like the feel of it's fibers between their claws. So, we are doing our best to convince them that their scratchers are superior for that. :) Overall, I am very pleased with this, and it arrived very quickly. I would recommend.
Well made, complex but subtle design
We purchased this runner as a kitchen work mat (with a heavy non slip liner underneath). As such it is bound to get dirty and wet. Synthetic fiber / outdoor spec well suited. Didn't want to overpower our beige tile floor or compete with the oriental rug on the other side of the room, so lighter shades of this carpet works well. Close up the complex weave is attractive and interesting, while from a distance in blends in nicely with the tones of our open floor plan kitchen / living room. Has the appearance of natural fibers. Only wish there was a 2x3 version for another corner of the kitchen. (The similar 2x3 with dark brown borders in contrast was too bold and busy for our design need, though of compsrable quality).
