Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool, this compact rectangular rug from the Kazak collection showcases traditional Caucasian tribal design. A rich crimson red central field displays two stepped geometric medallions framed in forest green, gold, and ivory, centered by stylized floral motifs. A wide beige border surrounds the field, decorated with alternating star-burst rosettes in terracotta, teal, and navy blue. Delicate fringed ends complete the piece. The thin wool pile provides a firm, authentic texture with notable character, made in Pakistan using time-honored artisanal methods.
