Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool in Pakistan, this 2x3 rectangular rug from the Mamluk Ziegler Collection showcases historic craftsmanship with a thin, durable pile. The design centers on an intricate stepped medallion surrounded by geometric octagonal motifs, paisley figures, and ornate borders finished with short fringe. A warm, earthy taupe-brown field sets a grounding foundation for the detailed accents in rust red, muted teal, slate purple, midnight navy, and gold.
