Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool, this rectangular rug from the Mamluk Ziegler Collection showcases historic geometry and detailed craftsmanship. The design features a prominent central medallion framed by intricate octagonal motifs, palmettes, and layered decorative borders, finished with subtle fringe along the edges. Set against a muted greyish-blue field, the detailed pattern is rendered in warm rust red, olive green, ochre, lavender, and deep navy tones.
