It sits well at the entry and does its job; it is sufficiently mottled so that it won't show what shoes will deposit on it at entry. The colors are harmonious and work well in an understated way. This is not a bright rug but it holds interest. The pad holds it in place and it is all well EXCEPT for one thing: the white fringes. They scream at you and they are totally out of tune with the otherwise pleasant rug. I don't think it can be removed without ruining the rug altogether and therefore in the summer I will soak the finges in concentrated tea and let the sun dry it all. If the tea does not work well enough I will try coffee. The contrast between the white of the fringe and the mellowness of the rug itself is rather disturbing.

But as soon as I opened it my first words were Oh my! This is so pretty! It's perfect in my living room. The colors are warm and inviting. The quality is good and the price! The price was phenomenal. So happy with this purchase. I'll definitely be back when I need other rugs.

It arrived on the following Wednesday.I was quoted by other shops and suppliers that for a 19ft runner it would cost us around £750. OK that's wool but given it needed to sit in the hallway I just wanted something which looked good and was hardwearing. Bingo! This fitted the bill perfectly. It looks like wool even feels like wool and the colours are beautiful. Absolutely delighted thank you.

Also I appreciated the affordable price and no cost 2-day shipping - all my favorite things! In hindsight I should have ordered the no-slip strip to go underneath. But I'll know better next time.
This rug looks more expensive in person. Love the details and feel. No rug pad needed and is still comfy to sit on. Does not shed. The blue color has a lot of gray in it and parts look like a cross between sage green and blue.

I did purchase the double thick carpet pad and I am glad that I did. The description calls the fish red I would say they are more of a burnt orange. I am very happy with this rug!! I'm glad that I didn't spend $500 + on a 8 x 10 like I was about to from every other website I looked at and also in Home Goods. Quality is the same as if I did though.

It blends well with the oak and pine furniture. An excellent purchase and definitely value for money. The corners are still settling down as they are a little curled up but nothing that a heavy chair will not resolve. The irony is that we bought the rug to replace a cat soiled one unfortunately she got shut in and christened this one; not the rug's fault!
