I need to move this review from a 3 to a 1. The shedding dirt and fallout from this rug is a liability. Your vacuum will get clogged and your clothes will be constantly filled with jute as if you had a dog or cat.

It constantly drops debris from the backing; every time I move it there is a layer of dirt underneath that requires vacuuming.Construction: The jute fibers started unraveling on day one leaving frayed fabric sticking up across the surface. Not everywhere but over time this will be more and more of an issue.Safety Issue: My biggest concern is the uneven thickness. The short ends are nearly 2 tall while the long sides are only 0.5. This creates a significant ledge that we are constantly tripping over.It looks nice from afar but it’s just not practical for a lived-in space. I was happy it measured exactly as described so it fit precisely how we needed it.
