Amina takes its cue from Mamluk carpet design, where eight-pointed stars bloom from the center and fields break into tiled octagons and small, jewel-like compartments. The result is pattern with architecture: geometry that feels ordered and calm from across the room and rewards a closer look with tiny florals, leafy sprigs and rosettes tucked into every panel.
Across seven designs, the mood shifts from cleanly drawn and stately to softly over-dyed and vintage in spirit. That gives you a single family of looks for a traditional dining room, a collected bohemian living room or a modern space that wants one richly patterned anchor. Framing borders hold each design together, and some come finished with fringe at the ends.
Machine made in polypropylene and polyester, the rugs have a low pile that keeps all that intricate drawing close to the floor. Choose from a range of sizes and colorways, from a 2x3 accent by the door to a 10x13 that fills a large room, with rounds for a breakfast nook or a reading corner.
- The Mamluk star at center stageEight-pointed star medallions open out from the heart of the rug, ringed by rosettes and leafy motifs. Under a dining table or in front of a sofa it gives the room a true focal point, with a feel that's old-world and still graphic enough for modern furniture.
- Tiled octagons for an architectural fieldSome designs skip the single medallion and repeat octagon panels across the field like inlaid tilework. You get pattern that feels structured and rhythmic, a good pick for long, formal rooms or open spaces that need some order.
- Stately or softly faded, all in one familySome designs are cleanly drawn and polished, and others lean over-dyed and vintage. You can match the rug to a classic traditional room or a relaxed bohemian one and keep the same Mamluk-inspired character through the house.
- Fine detail you can live withThe low, machine made pile in polypropylene and polyester keeps tiny florals, sprigs and compartments close to the surface, so the drawing reads clearly and the rug stays easy to place in busy everyday rooms.
- From doorway accents to roundsThe range runs from small accent sizes up to 10x13, with rounds as well, so one pattern language can carry from the entry to the living room to a cozy round reading nook.
