The piece
Hamedan
A warm beige field is covered with a fine, repeating diamond-lattice of small geometric motifs in muted brown, each one punctuated by discreet touches of blue and orange. A narrow blue border frames the field with a stylized floral motif, adding a classic corridor-runner character that balances the rug’s overall calm palette. Hand-made of wool, the pile feels dense and soft underfoot, with subtle tonal variation and the slight irregularities that come from skilled handwork, giving the surface a tactile, lived-in quality.

This runner works well in a long entry, hallway, or alongside a bed to introduce soft color and pattern without overwhelming a room. Pair it with warm wood floors and neutral upholstery for a cohesive traditional or transitional look, or layer it in a casual farmhouse or coastal scheme where the blue border and orange accents can pick up existing textiles and accessories. It also serves as a grounding element in a narrow kitchen aisle or a gallery-style corridor, adding texture and quiet pattern to everyday routes through the home.
