The piece
Ultra Vintage
Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug presents a softly distressed, tone-on-tone pattern that balances vintage character with modern restraint. A warm beige ground provides the backdrop while muted violet threads weave through the field, creating subtle depth and a washed, lived-in effect. A faint border frames the design without interrupting the rug’s calm, subtly variegated surface. The dense, low-to-medium wool pile feels smooth and supportive underfoot, with the natural wool fibers offering a soft, tactile finish.

It pairs naturally with neutral palettes, deep jewel tones, or woods and metals, and complements styles from mid-century modern and transitional to contemporary farmhouse. Use it to soften hardwood floors, ground a bedroom seating area, or bring a muted, cohesive base to a mixed-material space.
