A classic Persian-style medallion rug with a soft beige field, this hand made 100% wool piece pairs a sky-blue central medallion with intricate scrolling vines and floral sprays in red, burgundy, navy and subtle gold accents. The multi-layered border carries those same motifs into a richly detailed frame, while delicate corner spandrels and fine outlining give the overall pattern a measured, balanced rhythm. Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 2-3 feet on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
Outdoor
Measure your patio or deck area and choose a rug that fits within the furniture grouping, leaving a few inches of clearance on all sides.
