Hand-knotted from pure silk in Iran, this 10x13 rectangular rug from the Qom Silk Collection showcases a traditional medallion design. The large central medallion and surrounding field display a deep red and crimson backdrop, densely filled with intricate floral motifs and vines. Accents in cream, ivory, tan, and soft beige compose the ornate spandrels and multi-layered borders. Finished with fine fringe on the ends, the medium silk pile offers a smooth texture and detailed knot definition throughout the composition.
