Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug has a soft, dense pile you can feel underfoot. A beige field provides a calm backdrop for a repeated geometric motif: stepped, cross-like medallions in maroon, red and warm brown, each edged in navy blue for crisp definition. A narrow red border punctuated with small floral-like accents frames the composition, giving the piece a collected, handcrafted presence and subtle textural variation from the hand-knotting.
