The piece
Jajim
Beige forms a warm, neutral field for a series of narrow vertical stripes in rust, terracotta, charcoal and olive, while broader side bands introduce deeper tones of chocolate and mustard. Small, multicolored knotted tufts—turquoise, cobalt, cherry, lime and ivory—are scattered along the borders and ends like confetti, and short, colorful tassels finish the edges. The overall effect balances a traditional striped weave with playful, artisanal detail, giving the piece a lived-in, handcrafted character.
