Hand made from cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug is composed of hundreds of small square pieces set on a warm beige ground. The mix of beige, ivory, and cream patches produces soft tonal variation and subtle natural markings that give the surface depth without strong contrast. When you run a hand across it the nap is low and smooth with a gentle sheen; the stitched seams between squares add a faint tactile grid and a sense of crafted construction.
